On Monday Mara, Ronnie, Mike and Campbell played in the first round of the Day League Knockout competition. A good team effort saw them defeat Kirkoswald (1) by 12 shots to 2. They now go forward to the semi-final on February 26th
Tonight's league matches were both closely contested. Bill's rink took an early lead against Mike's rink, who fought back, but could not close the gap. On the other sheet, Campbell's rink started slowly against Mara's rink, but pulled back to peel after 6 ends. Mara's rink took a 3 in the penultimate end, which Campbell's rink just failed to match in the last end.
